Have Medicaid? It's time to check in.

Do you or a family member currently have health insurance through Medicaid or the

Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP)?

Changes are coming to Medicaid.

During the COVID-19 public health emergency, Marylanders who were enrolled in Medicaid continued to be covered, even if they were no longer eligible.

Medicaid renewals will not be automatic this year. Starting in April 2023, Maryland will begin making Medicaid eligibility reviews again. Not everyone will be up for renewal at the same time. These renewals will take place over 12 months.

It is very important that you make sure your contact information is up to date so that you can receive and respond to important messages about your health insurance. Visit MarylandHealthConnection.gov/CheckIn or call 855-642-8572 to get started.

Don't have Medicaid but want to help spread the word?

To reduce the number of qualified members that could lose their coverage, this toolkit was created to support providers, advocates, and partners with key messaging and resources to make sure members know how to renew their coverage and are aware of other affordable health coverage options if needed.
