National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Programs

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Programs (LRP) application cycle is open! In addition to a tax-free loan repayment, participants will receive a competitive salary, and a chance to significantly impact underserved communities.
One Application, Three Programs! Each program has a different award level and varying eligibility. To learn more about each program, click on the individual program's link.
NHSC Loan Repayment Program provides up to $50,000 for a two-year service commitment.
NHSC Substance Use Disorder Workforce Loan Repayment Program provides up to $75,000 for a three-year service commitment.
NHSC Rural Community Loan Repayment Program provides up to $100,000 for a three-year service commitment.
The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program pays for tuition, fees, and other educational costs, plus a monthly stipend for living expenses for nursing degrees. Scholarship beneficiaries will serve at least two years in the Nurse Corps following graduation in a critical shortage facility in a shortage-designated area in a U.S. state or territory.
This year, the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program has reserved special funding for the following areas:
Up to 20% of awards are reserved for nurse practitioners with a specialty in psychiatric mental health.
Up to $5 million reserved for:
Registered nurses with a focus on women's health or obstetrics
Nurse practitioners with a focus on women’s health or an obstetrics and gynecological specialization
Certified nurse midwives with a focus on maternal health
Up to $2 million reserved for career pathway in health professionals including certified nursing assistants, home health aides, medical assistants, licensed practical (vocational) nurses, and other entry-level health professionals.
