Indoor garden towers available!

Through funding from the Maryland Department of Health, the Mid Shore Health Improvement Coalition is offering indoor garden towers to organizations who directly serve residents in Caroline, Dorchester and Kent counties. Approximately 36 garden towers will be available across the three counties.

Businesses, non-profits, faith-based and other community-based organizations that serve residents of the three counties are eligible to apply. The organization does not need to have a primary address in one of those counties, but the proposed project must directly serve those residents.

The vegetable garden towers and start-up supplies are valued at $1,100 per kit. Applications must include plans for how the organization will sustain the towers over time. (Yearly supply and up-keep is approximately $200 per kit.)
