About the Maryland Commission on Public Health:

The Maryland Commission on Public Health (the Commission) was established by Governor Wes Moore following the COVID-19 pandemic and other public health crises. The Commission was charged with assessing the impact of the foundational public health capabilities, the public health infrastructure, of state and local health departments and issuing a final report with recommendations to improve public health services.
